For companies and institutions

Registered foundation in Poland · KRS 0001261586 · NIP 8121931960 · entered in the National Court Register on 25 August 2026 · supervising authority: Minister of Health

A single gift from a company or an institution can pay for a whole stage of this research programme. With so few known patients, no pharmaceutical company will fund the first experiments, so the Foundation raises the money itself.

PLN 220,000

the approximate cost of Stage 1

up to 10%

of income: the CIT deduction for Polish companies

Every corporate donation comes with a written agreement and, once the funded stage is complete, a report on what the money achieved.

Forms of support

The most direct way is to fund a specific stage. Stage 1, finding out exactly what the mutation breaks in patient cells, costs about PLN 220,000. The goal for the whole road is PLN 5 million towards an ASO or gene therapy, depending on the disease mechanism. The donation agreement names the purpose, and we report back on how the money was used.

A donation to our statutory purposes is simpler: a bank transfer that the Foundation allocates where the programme needs it most.

Services and materials can matter as much as money: laboratory services, reagents, sequencing and data analysis, IT, legal or accounting work, or advertising space in your media.

Your employees can take part through an employee fundraiser, matched donations or skills-based volunteering. If your company runs a corporate foundation or a grant programme, send us its rules and we will prepare an application.

Documents and reporting

  • A donation agreement, on our template or yours, with the purpose written in.
  • Confirmation of the donation for your accounts and, for gifts in kind, a written statement of acceptance.
  • A report on how the funds were used once the funded stage is complete.
  • Registration documents on request: National Court Register extract, statute, tax and statistical numbers.
  • One contact person, the President of the Board.

If you agree, we will thank you publicly on our website and social media. We do not sell advertising, and a thank-you is not a service given in return for a donation.

Cooperation process

  1. Write to contact@fbxo28.org with the subject “Corporate support”. A few sentences about what you have in mind are enough.
  2. We arrange a short call and agree the purpose, the amount and the form of support.
  3. We sign the agreement. You make a transfer to the Foundation’s account (bank details) or deliver the goods or services.
  4. After the funded stage you receive a report on what the money achieved.

Tax relief in Poland

A company paying Polish corporate income tax (CIT) can deduct donations made for public-benefit purposes from its income, up to 10% of that income. The relief does not depend on the recipient holding OPP status. A cash donation is documented by a bank transfer to the Foundation’s account, so for companies we recommend a direct transfer rather than a payment through the fundraising platform. A gift in kind is documented by its value and our written acceptance.

Entrepreneurs taxed on the progressive scale or on the lump-sum tax on recorded revenue (ryczałt) can deduct up to 6% of their income (revenue). The relief is not available at the 19% flat rate.

This is general information based on the Polish CIT Act (Art. 18), the PIT Act (Art. 26) and the Lump-Sum Income Tax Act, not tax advice. Please confirm your own position with your accountant or tax adviser. Outside Poland, the tax treatment of donations depends on local law; we will provide the documents your finance team needs.
